The first Crysis game was a landmark title in terms of its visuals. This featured different match types and the PC version allowed for some pretty large scale and epic battles with your friends. Crysis 3 did have a pretty fun and solid multiplayer mode as well. While I have not tried to get a game going in quite some time. Which is a good thing as the enemy AI in this game can be quite relentless. This is something I really like and a huge reason as to why I have played through this game three times! It is a joy from start to finish and the first-person shooter controls are nice and tight. The level design is great, you have huge, pretty much open world areas to explore and play in, but the game is always pushing you forward. It allows you to focus on the weapons and abilities that you like best so you can play the game the way you want to. I really like the way the upgrade system in Crysis 3 works. Of course, your suit plays a big part in the gameplay as you can use it to dish out some heavy-duty damage and also conceal yourself for stealth sections. They do give us a lot more weapons and there is a very nice mixture of powerful human weapons and alien weapons that you can get your hands on. To be fair though, there was not anything that I feel needed changing.
I will admit that the gameplay as not really seen any major improvements over what Crysis 2 offered. I really think despite the short length they closed things off nicely. The story is a little short, but if you enjoyed the first two games, you will be happy with what they did. This is best described as a fascist organization that wants everything their own way. The Ceph who tried to destroy mankind is still around, but you also have to deal with an organization known as CELL.
